Kissimmee is a city in Osceola County, Florida, United States. As of 2006, the population recorded by the U.S. Census Bureau is 60,894. It is the county seat of Osceola County. Kissimmee is a Principal City of the Orlando-Kissimmee, Florida, Metropolitan Statistical Area, which the census bureau estimated had a 2007 population of 2,032,496.

Kissimmee is tourist destination because of its sunny weather, Spring Training baseball, and close proximity to Disney World. It is located just South of Orlando, FL, in what is commonly referred to as the "Kissimmee-St. Cloud" area, due to the short distance between it and the adjacent city of St. Cloud. It is centered directly between St. Cloud and Disney World on Highway 192 and leads into route 535, which leads directly into Disney World theme parks. Most tourist activity is centered around Highway 192 (also known as Space Coast Highway, Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway and Vine Street (in the city of Kissimmee).

It’s Easy to Get Married at The Orlando Kissimmee Wedding Chapel All You Need is a Marriage License Issued By Any County Clerk inThe State of Florida

1. Go to any County Clerk’s Office in the state of Florida, including the Osceola County Clerk’s Office in Kissimmee.

2. The fee to the County Clerk for a Marriage License is $97.50 for non-Florida residents, with NO waiting period. Florida residents must pay $97.50 and wait three days for the license to take effect, unless they receive pre-marriage certified counseling . With such counseling, there is NO waiting period for Florida residents and the license is available at a discounted price of $65.00.

3. Both parties to the Marriage License must appear together before the Clerk, with each presenting at least one form of official photo ID, such as a driver’s license or passport.

4. If you have been divorced, you must show the clerk a certified copy of your divorce decree issued by the Court.

5. There is NO blood test or medical exam required. You must give the Marriage License to the minister before the ceremony.

Get in

• Fly into Orlando International Airport (MCO), which is about a 25 minute drive down I-4. You are probably better off taking a toll road though as traffic on I-4 is horrendous.
• Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ISM) - The closest general aviation facility to Walt Disney World, Sea World, UNIVERSAL Orlando, the Orlando-Orange County Convention Center. Used primarily for private business jets or small commercial aircraft.
